eBay sellers know a secret -- SquareTrade pays off.

GearDiary writer Wayne Schultz usually avoids warranties -- they're a ripoff.  So does his eBay-selling roommate.  Well, except for SquareTrade, the one warranty that pays off.

Schultz writes:

"My college roommate had to make a claim on an old Garmin GPS that simply quit working and was shocked that they mailed a check within a day for the full INITIAL purchase price of the Garmin. He swears by this insurance and uses it in place of the pricier extended warranties that retailers push on you."

He adds that SquareTrade is a great option for new, used, and refurbished electronics purchased on eBay and in the store.

Hi,

I have been a squaretrade member for a number of uears now but due to a shift in what I am actually selling I now need to cancel my subcription.

Unfourtunately I could not find anyway to do this online. Can you please advise of how I can go about cancelling my payments?
