Seller's don't win!!! Every change requires the seller's to change their listings. If you have hundreds of listings, do you know the time involved in doing that???UGH !!!!

Hi Jacqueline:
Seems there may be some confusion - the SquareTrade warranty feature on eBay has been designed to be fully automated, so sellers don't have to post anything into their listing.
Once a seller opts in, we automatically scan all their listings and only post the banner into eligible items. (If you don't see the banner in a listing, it will be because it is not eligible for a SquareTrade extended warranty.)
If this is not the issue, or you have other questions about how the feature works - please let us know. Feel free to reach us at 877-WARRANTY.
Thanks for getting in touch!

Hi,
I just called up the customer service at square trade, but I think the receptionist is new or not very experienced because I still feel my question wasn't answered.
I wanted to know if square trade was offered to every seller on ebay selling new and used electronics, or only those with top seller or good ratings.
because there are many listings on both craigslist and ebay with lower price point, but without a warranty, are those ebay sellers eligible for square trade? so I can have a piece of mind when I buy from them?
or can I tell someone selling on craigslist to list the item on ebay also so then I could apply for the squaretrade warranty?
thanks
